Its objective is to promote these approaches from their development to clinical research.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Expertise<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Research and development: <strong>stem cells biotechnology<\/strong>; <strong>high throughput screening<\/strong>; disease modelling; development of tools for the study of monogenic diseases.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cell therapy and disease modelling<\/strong>: neurodegenerative diseases, genodermatoses, neuromuscular diseases, retinopathies, motor neuron diseases, neurovascular injuries&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Highlights in 2025<\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">In 2025, I-Stem celebrated its 20th anniversary at a scientific symposium held at PariSant\u00e9 Campus. The associated Inserm unit was evaluated by Hc\u00e9res and renewed for five years from January 1, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>I-Stem also coordinates the European Dreams programme, which combines artificial intelligence, stem cells and drug screening to identify new treatments for five rare diseases, and participates in the \u201cLa Cellule m\u00e9dicament\u201d programme, which aims to structure a European cell therapy sector accessible to as many people as possible.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Established in 2005 under the impetus of the AFM-Telethon and Inserm, I-stem is dedicated to research on stem cells for the treatment and study of monogenic diseases.
